Where the VGRT300 has open burners, the VGRT302 is its sealed-burner counterpart: a retired Professional Series 30-inch gas rangetop with a one-piece porcelainized top and raised edges that keep spills from escaping. It suits households that value easy cleanup over the commercial look.
The sealed design hides the burner box, but the same hazards apply at the cap. Liquid works its way under, and the electrode gets coated, so the spark goes where it cannot light the gas. Valves and ports at the lowest setting age quietly.

It keeps a boil-over on the surface, which helps, but liquid can still slip under a burner cap. Wipe spills promptly and lift the caps to dry the area if liquid gets in.
Let it cool, remove the cap and head, wash them in warm soapy water and dry thoroughly. Never pour water into the burner base. Reassemble only when every part is dry, otherwise the next ignition will click and fail.
The wet or dirty electrode on that burner is the likely culprit. We dry and clean it, and check the wire to the module. If the electrode looks clean and dry, the module output is the next test.
