Viking VGIQ4122RT1 41-Inch Ultra-Premium Grill
The VGIQ4122RT1 is a retired 41-inch Ultra-Premium outdoor grill with a TruSear infrared burner and a heavy-duty rotisserie. It has been out of production for a while, so we expect age-related wear.
In grills of this age, terminals and wires corrode first, followed by hoses and the thin metal of burner trays. We examine all of these before looking for subtler problems, and we test spark at every igniter. The infrared burner gets its own inspection of ceramic, orifice and air intake.
The rotisserie motor, plug and spit are tested under load, and the hood and hinges are checked for smooth movement. If you notice a gas smell, close the supply and call the gas utility from outside. As the model is retired, we confirm part availability first and send you the price in writing. A 30-day workmanship warranty applies.
Moisture and heat attack bare metal. We clean or replace the terminals and seal the connection so the spark stays reliable. Replacing a corroded terminal is a small repair with a big effect.
Wear parts like igniters, hoses and some burners often are. We check before quoting and tell you if a part is not obtainable. If a part is gone for good, we look for a substitute that fits.
The ceramic for cracks, the openings for residue, the igniter for spark and the airflow that the burner needs to run cleanly. Any one of these can change how well the infrared burner sears.
