Viking VGBQ4103RE2 41-Inch Grill Service
The VGBQ4103RE2 is the other retired 41-inch Ultra-Premium E-Series grill, again with 29,000 BTU stainless steel burners and a heavy-duty rotisserie. We treat it the same as the RE1, with parts matched to the data plate on your grill.
A 41-inch grill puts real demand on the gas supply. If flames shrink as you light more burners, we check the regulator, hose size and the line feeding the grill. A rotisserie that will not run sends us to the outlet, the plug and the motor in that order. Corroded igniter wiring is another outdoor classic that we look for early.
We also test the hood, hinges and handles for stiffness, since a hood that sticks gets forced and bent. For gas smell, close the supply and call the utility from outside. Retired models need part checks, so we confirm availability and give a written price. Our warranty is 30 days.
Supply pressure may be dropping under load. We test the regulator and check whether the gas line is large enough for the full burner load.
If another device works in the outlet, the motor is suspect. We test voltage at the outlet and the motor's own current draw. That separates an electrical outlet problem from a motor problem.
Yes, because forcing the hood can bend it and change how it seals. We clean and lubricate the hinges, or replace worn ones. Smooth operation also keeps the hood aligned when it closes.
