The DTWS48491 completes the slim traditional wall hood group in the Designer Series at 48 inches. Hung above a 48-inch range, it spans a lot of wall, so grease and dust accumulate along the front edge before the fan shows any difficulty.
Our first step is to clean the filters and check their fit. After that, we check the blower, listening for rubbing or a wheel that wobbles, and watch the damper while the fan runs.
